Its alive!

Decide to bring the Trail 70 in house to work on the electrical. Our pathetic garage doesn't have enough light to really see what a person is doing. I also decided to install just the basic electrical that came with the Lifan 125cc motor. It just required a kill switch hookup. That way I can get the motor running and broken in quickly then I will go back and hook up the 12 volt to 6 volt conversion wiring system.

I put petroleum based oil (10/40) to break it in then I will switch to synthetic after 1500 miles. The first quart will be replaced after 20 miles. I read you need to break these motors in hard. Warm them up and put a load on them immediately to seat the rings properly.

That all said....I put gas in it...turned on petcock...and .it started on the FIRST kick! Wow! That never happens!

Colin definitely wants to ride it!
Photo of bike running. I went up and down the block about 5 times riding it hard. The first time I let out the clutch I did a wheelie! LOL! No joke.
